As a senior art director at one of the largest health care advertising agencies in the United States, I worked on a variety of accounts ranging from private practitioners to large medical groups. Responsibilities included managing design from concept to completion and enhancing advertising communications by utilizing an array of advanced education and hands-on experience:
COMPUTER GRAPHICS-Designed and produced logos, print ads, brochures, web sites, and collateral material using most major software programs on the Macintosh and PC, including Adobe CS4, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, PowerPoint, and Dreamweaver. Developed techniques and trained new employees in the use of computer graphics systems.
GRAPHIC DESIGN-Translated concepts and information into appealing text and images for advertisements, brochures, newsletters, catalogs, packaging, stationery systems, and other collateral materials.
PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT-Coordinated and supervised creative team consisting of copywriters, production assistants, and paste-up artists. Hired and trained employees, maintained budgets, planned for fluctuating work loads and deadlines. Developed more efficient production procedures. Interacted with suppliers, consultants, and clients. Met deadlines.
