My artistic journey began at a very young age. In elementary school, I discovered my passion for painting and drawing—color and creativity became my world. I knew early on that I wanted to be an artist when I grew up. I took every art class available, both in and outside of school, and even covered my bedroom walls with murals (to my parents’ surprise and eventual delight). Throughout my school years, I entered numerous art contests and exhibitions, earning many awards along the way.

In high school, I set my sights on a career in commercial art, specifically graphic design. I began my studies in the BFA Graphic Design program at California State University, Long Beach, before transferring to California State University, Fullerton, to complete the final two years of the rigorous program.

While in college, I had the incredible opportunity to intern at a medical marketing and advertising agency. Upon graduating, I was hired as a Senior Art Director—a significant achievement and an exciting start to my career in graphic design.

Fast forward 30+ years, and I have built a career as a senior-level designer and manager in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry, leading high-profile campaigns and proposal designs for multi-million and billion-dollar projects. I currently serve as a Graphic Design Manager for a major transportation engineering firm, overseeing creative strategy and execution.

Beyond my corporate role, I run my own creative graphic design studio out of my home in Orange County, CA—where I was born and raised. This allows me to continue exploring my passion for design in new and innovative ways.
